Notes from a Monsoon Wedding
In Coorg the rain arrived before the guests did. The house smelled of wet earth and cardamom, and everyone pretended not to worry.
By evening the garden had forgiven the sky. The photographs from that day are among the truest we have kept — umbrellas shared by strangers, silk hems lifted over puddles, lamplight doubled in the wet stone.
If it rains on your wedding, let it. We will be there for what the rain reveals.
